The pioneer Provost of Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin Dr. A.A. Imam, has advocated higher commitment of government at all levels of education to guarantee a better future.

Dr. Imam made this known when the incumbent Provost, Dr. AbdulRaheem Yusuf, led a team to pay him a courtesy call in his country home in Iyamoye, Kogi state this week. He emphasized that education is the singular strategy with which those in governance can effectively tackle myriads of challenges bedeviling the nation as a whole.

Dr. Imam reiterated that, its only ignorance on the part of those in positions of authority that made them believe that empowering people with quality education would jeopardize their interest.

The visit was to show appreciation to the erstwhile Provost for taking out time to attend the recently concluded 18th combined convocation ceremonies of the College.
