The Provost of the College has approved the constitution of the following committees.

STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE
Term of Reference
This Committee will, among other things

  • Generate a two year(bi-annual) working plan for the  College
  • Consider all aspect of the college administration i.e. finance, accreditation, academic standard etc in its plan.
  • Identify the colleges goals and objectives
  • Create a blueprint for the college’s future
  • Any other matter can assist the Committee and the College in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the Provost Office

WEBOMETRICS
Terms of Reference
This committee will, among other things

  • Ensure proper running and maximization of the college’s portal
  • Guarantee optima utility of the portal by staff and students
  • Upload academic publications
  • Ensure that our staffs are listed among goggle scholars
  • Any other matter that can assists the committee and the college in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the Provost Office

HOSTEL MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Terms of Reference
This committee will, among other things

  • Relate with friends of the college to build hostels
  • Ensure the students' hostels are in good state/condition
  • Ensure compliance with the rules governing hostels
  • Maintain routine checks to ensure the safety of lives and properties in the hostel
  • Any other matter that can assist the committee and the college in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the provost office

COMMITTEE ON THE REVIEW OF STAFF HANDBOOK
Terms of Reference
This Committee will, among other things

  • Work on the staff Handbook
  • Check the former handbooks with the scheme of service and come up with a new one
  • Decide what constitute an offence in the college and recommend appropriate sanctions
  • Review the rules and regulations of the college
  • Any other matter that can assist the committee and the College in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the provost office

QUALITY ASSURANCE COMMITTEE
Terms of Reference

  • Ensure quality of teaching and learning in the College
  • Monitor lecturer to ensure they attend classes
  • Do everything possible to maintain and sustain moral standard among students
  • Monitor teaching practice
  • Ensure students compliance with dress code and other rules of engagement in the college
  • Any other matter that can assist the Committee and the college in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the provost office

CAMPUS FACILITIES MONITORING COMMITTEE
Terms of Reference
The committee will, among other things

  • Ensure judiciary use of college facilities
  • Liaise with necessary units in the college to ensure that all college facilities (building and Equipments) are properly paid for when they are used.
  • Make recommendations as at when due on the need to upgrade the facilities
  • Ensure constant maintenance of the facilities
  • Any other matter that can assist the committee and the college in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the provost office

CAMPUS SECURITY COMMITTEE
Terms of Reference
The committee will, among other thing

  • Ensure the safety of lives and properties of both staff and students
  • Conduct routine checks to make sure that our hostels are safe abode for our students
  • Handle all security matters
  • Any other matter that can assist committee and the college in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the provost office

CAMPUS ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMITTEE
Terms of Reference
The committee will, among other things

  • Fight all forms of corruption in the college
  • Curb corruption and discipline in the college
  • Bring evil perpetrators to book
  • Put an end to extortion of any form in the College
  • Any other matter that can assist the committee and the college in general
  • Submit a monthly report to the provost office

GENUINE RECONCILIATION COMMITTEE
Terms of Reference
The committee will, among other things

  • Look into the remote and immediate courses of wrong appointments
  • Evaluates the extent of damage such appointments or wrong doing have caused the college
  • Suggest solutions to visible and assumed problems that must have emanated from item 2 above
  • Suggest reconciliatory path that can be taken to bring back the lost glory of the college
  • Submit its report to the Provost office within two weeks.
