There are strong indications that the erstwhile scrapped full-time degree programme in affiliation with the Ekiti-State University may take off in the 2018/2019 academic session.
The hint was dropped by the Provost of the College Dr AbdulRahem Yusuf in a management briefing shortly after the just concluded NUC resource verification exercise. According to him, the interim report by the verification team was fovourable in all the courses presented.
The verifiers, who noted that the College is blessed with highly qualified staff (both teaching and non-teaching) needed for a university programme, also commended the Provost for putting in place a very conducive environment for learning within the very short time of his assumption of office.
With this development, the College have started putting in place all other necessary apparatus that will ensure smooth take off of the programme.
Meanwhile, the 2018 sandwich academic session has fully commenced in the College. The Deputy Director examination Mrs. Sanusi O. A. stated that the centre is fully prepared for the contact session with a promise that outstanding results would soon be released to the students.
