The Centre for Research Development, Innovation, Incubation and In-house Training (CREDIIIT) of the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin organized a one day workshop and endnote library for academic staff of the College on Friday 29th January.
The workshop, which attracted eminent scholars from far and near, had in attendance the Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Prof Noah Yusuf, Prof Femi Muibi Saibu of Unilag, the Provost of the College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies Dr Abdullah Ayinla Olokoba and a retired chief Lecturer in the Department of Economics and former Deputy Provost of the College, Alh. Saleeman Sheu Ibrahim among others.
In his remark, the Chief Host and Provost of the College Prof AbdulRaheem Yusuf described the establishment of the Centre as an avenue to promote the carrying out of grant-winning researches by Lecturers of College. It's equally, according to him, to make the Lecturers more research inclined. He disclosed that the College recently won N28million as a grant for research from TETFund.
Speakers at the workshop included Profs. AbdulRaheem Yusuf and Femi Suaibu, Drs Bello Zakariyau Adebayo and Gold Khafilah Lola while Prof. Noah Yusuf shared his experience on how he became a beneficiary of a research grant.
