The Acting Provost Dr Ahmed Jimoh Ayinla, accompanied by the Acting Registrar Mr Lawal Suraj Abayomi, Dean School of Education, Mr Saka Babatunde, Chairman Accreditation Committee of EKSU in the College, Dr Zacheaus Adesokan, Director of the Directorate of Undergraduate Studies, Mrs Oluwatoyin Sanusi and Ag. Director of the Center for Research, Development, Innovation, Incubation and In-house Training (CREDIIIT) Dr (Mrs) Gold Lola Khafila paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the Ekiti State University Prof. Edward Olanipekun (FCSN).
The meeting offered the Ag. Provost and his team the opportunity to dialogue with the management of the University and the Directorate of Continuing Education Program (DCEP) of EKSU on issues bordering on the development of the College.
Dr. Ayinla called for synergy between the two institutions to enhance an enabling environment conducive for learning. He urged the Vice-Chancellor, among other things, to consider a downward review of the charges of the University's programs in the College especially, taking cognizance of the Students' population. In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun thanked the Ag Provost for the visit and pledged the University's commitment to fostering a robust and symbiotic relationship between Ekiti state University and the Kwara State College of Education Ilorin. He added that all the requests made on behalf of the College by Dr Ayinla will be favourably considered.
The Provost has since returned to Ilorin.
