Engr Folajimi Ahmed Aleshinloye, Director of Works

Folajimi Ahmed Aleshinloye was born on the 23rd July 1969 in Kaduna, Kaduna State. He attended Ireti Primary School, Ikoyi, Lagos State between 1974 and 1980 for his Primary School Leaving Certificate and Government Secondary School, Ilorin in 1980 to 1985 for his West African School Certificate.

He then proceeded to the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, for his B.Eng. Civil Engineering between 1992 and 1999.

In September 1994 Mr. Aleshinloye joined the service of YOLAS Consultants, GRA, Ilorin as an Engineer Assistant, Stabilini Visinoni Limited, Lagos as an assistant to Site Supervisor in 1998 and joined the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin as an Administrative Officer in 2001 and rose through the ranks to become the Chief Engineer in the Works Department of Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin.

He was the Deputy Director, Technical Services, Directorate of Communication and Information Technology (DCIT) between November 2017 and November 2020. He became a member of The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) in December 2017.

 Aleshinloye also attended a 3-Days Workshop on the Fundamentals of Contract Administrative and Construction Management by The Nigerian Society of Engineers in 2008, he attended a conference on Peacebuilding & Collective Security Society for Peace Studies & Practice in 2008, he had AutoCAD Training from Plat Technologies Limited in 2009,  another training in Advanced Digital Appreciation Programme for Tertiary Institutions (ADAPTI) Digital Bridge Institute in 2016 and also a Mandatory Continuous Professional Education Course for Prospective Corporate Members in 2017.

Aleshinloye attended a Seminar on Effective Administrative Skills by the Directorate of Special Duties, Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin in 2015.

Aleshinloye has two literary works and his extra-curricular activities include Reading, Music, Computers and Self-Improvement programmes.

Aleshinloye Ahmed Folajimi is happily married with a son.

Ishola Moses Abiodun,College Bursar

Ishola Moses Abiodun was born on the 17th January 1970 in Olla, Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State. He attended ECWA LGEA Primary School in Olla, Isin L.G.A, Kwara State between 1976 and 1982 and Olla Secondary Commercial School, Olla in the same Isin local government area from 1982 to 1987 for his West Africa Leaving Certificate respectively.

He proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for his Bachelor of Science (Hons), Accounting degree between 1991 and 1995. His flair for education necessitated him to proceed to the University of Ado-Ekiti, for a Master degree in Business Administrative and successfully completed it in 2005.

He joined the service of Kwara State Local Government Service Commission in March 1997 as Accountant II in Offa Local Government Area of the State. Mr. Moses rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Director of Finance in 2019, a position he held until his recent appointment as the current College Bursar on 1st September 2021.  

As a professional, he is a member of many associations that are related to his job as a Bursar. He is a full member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria in 2008, a Fellow Certified National Accountant (FCNA) of the Association of the National Accountants of Nigeria in 2016. He became a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 2019 and an Associate of the same institute in 2011 which was conferred on him under the seal of the Institute.

Mr. Ishola Abiodun is also a Registered Professional of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria in 2014.  He served meritoriously as the chairman of the Kwara State branch of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria between December 2017 and December 2019. He was also awarded the Civil Service Examination Certificate by the Office of the Head of Service Staff Development College, Ilorin in 1998.

He was appointed as a member of the Law and Parliament Committee between May 2021 to April 2023 and as a member of the Governmental Relations Liaison Committee from May 2019 to April 2021.

Mr. Ishola Moses Abiodun is happily married with three children.

Yakubu Mohammed Abdullahi, College Registrar

Yakubu Mohammed Abdullahi was born on the 12th of August, 1974 in Lafiagi, Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State. He attended Central Local School Management Board (LSMB) then, for his Primary School Leaving Certificate at Lafiagi in 1984. He proceeded to Teachers’ College Lafiagi in 1984 for his Teachers’ Grade II Certificate in 1989.

He went further to Kwara State College of Education Oro in 1989 for his Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1992. He then went to Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin for a Higher Diploma in Public Administration between 1994 and 1996. His flair for education necessitated him to return to the same Polytechnic for his Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Administration, in 1999.

In his taste for Academic greatness and prowess, he forged ahead to Bayero University, Kano for a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Administration between 2005 and 2006. He went further for his Master Degree in Public Policy and Administrative in the same University in 2008.

Mr. Yakubu enrolled in the Digital Bridge Institute, Oshodi-Lagos for a Certificate in Computer Appreciation in 2010; he also went to Nigerian Institute of Management, Victoria-Island, Lagos State for his Chartered Professional Management in 2012 and the Nigerian Institute of Strategic Human Resource Management, Abuja for his Fellow at the Strategic Institute in 2015 respectively.

Yakubu had worked in various capacities with a lot of experiences which includes teaching in Edu LGEA between 1992 and 1994, as Honourable Councillor of Edu LGA, Kwara State in 1997. He also worked at the College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi from 2001 and rose through the ranks to become Deputy Registrar, General Administration and Council Affairs in May 2020 before his present appointment as the Registrar of the College.

He was the President of Tsadza Development Association Lafiagi between 2010 and 2014, the Chairman Lafiagi Descendants Development Union (LADDU) Electoral Committee from 2018 till date; he is also the Chairman of the College of Education (Technical), Lafiagi Staff Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society from September 2017 till his present appointment in the College as the new Registrar.

Mr. Yakubu is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and a fellow in the Institute of Strategic Human Resource Management. He also has 3 publications in Standard Form.

His extracurricular activities include; playing football and reading novel.

Mr. Yakubu is happily married with five children.
